Welcome to Day One of the Top 10 of 2104

A Week of Looking Back…

…and Looking Forward

This will be my fourth year co-hosting this event with Jaime of Two Chicks on Books and my third year co-hosting with Mindy of Magical Urban Fantasy Reads. But this year I’m hosting it on my new blog and we have a new co-host joining us – Nancy of Tales of a Ravenous Reader.

If you haven’t yet heard of our Top 10 of 2014 week-long event, in a nutshell it’s where we share our favorite bookish lists and invite you to share yours over the next five days by leaving your post links in the daily Linky Lists.

This year we’re each hosting our own giveaways on four of the five days of this challenge – so be sure to check out Two Chicks on Books for Day One’s giveaway, my blog for Day Two’s giveaway, Magical Urban Fantasy Reads for Day Three’s giveaway and Tales of a Ravenous Reader for Day Five’s giveaway.

If you haven’t signed up yet, it’s not too late. Just check out the Sign-up Post for details.

Today’s topic is:

BEST BOOKS I’VE READ IN 2014

I’ve read a ton of amazing books this past year, most that were released in 2014 so choosing just ten was a nightmare. It also makes me glad I read books such as Kresley Cole’s ENDLESS KNIGHT in 2013 so I didn’t have to cut down my list of favorites even more.

And because this blog is a YA book blog, I’m only going to be listing my YA favorites. I will also be only giving shout outs to three honorable mentions, as my original list of 20 was just too long.
